In a recent conversation with Malayala Manorama, Bridgeway Group’s CEO spoke about how the group continues to evolve while staying rooted in the values that have shaped it for over 50 years.
One of the key points discussed was the integration of eight second-generation family members into the business. This step marks an important phase for Bridgeway, not as a change in direction, but as a continuation of what the group has always done: adapt, grow, and bring in new perspectives when the time is right.
The interview also highlighted Bridgeway’s presence across three continents and its work across sectors such as Shipping and Logistics, Construction, Education, Real Estate, and MedTech. He also noted that this diversity has been possible because of a strong focus on adaptability, open communication, and collaboration across teams and businesses.
Reflecting on the group’s long-term impact, the CEO shared a simple but meaningful thought: “Those who once left seeking opportunity will return.” It’s a reminder that Bridgeway’s growth has always been tied to people, creating opportunities, building capability, and thinking long term.
For us internally, the takeaway is clear. Bridgeway is more than the businesses we operate; it’s the shared values that connect them. As the next generation becomes more involved, the focus remains the same: Business First; Fairness Foremost.
